I haven't brought any content from my old blog as the whole point of this space is to start anew with refreshed vigour!
And so... A little freebie for you and your little ladies... A petite blythe cardigan knitting pattern......

A very small amount of lace weight yarn
A pair of size 2mm knitting needles (
American zero)
2 x 4mm dolly buttons http://www.mylittlecustoms.com
A darning needle
A small needle and matching thread
Knitting Instructions
Cast on 11st, Knit 2 rows
Row 3: K2,( Kfb next st, K1) repeat to last 3 sts, Kfb next st,
YF, K2tog
Row 4: K2, P to last 2 sts, K2.
Row 5: K2, (Kfb in next stitch, place marker, Kfb, K1) x3, Kfb,
place marker, Kfb, K2.
Row 6: K2, P to last 2 Sts, K2.
Row 7: Knit to one stitch before marker, Kfb, Slide marker, Kfb,
Repeat until end of Row.
Row 8: K2, P to last 2 Sts, K2.
Row 9, 10 & 11: Repeat row 7, Repeat row 8, Repeat row 7 to
last 2 stitches then YF, K2tog.
Row 12, 13 & 14: Repeat row 8, Repeat row 7, Repeat row 8. Row 15: Knit first 18 stitches, ( to second marker), Turn and work on 11 stitches for sleeve
Beginning with purl Row , Stocking stitch 4 rows, Then knit 2 rows and bind off.
Re join yarn to body and knit across remaining stitches to second last marker ( 22 Sts)Turn and work on 11 stitches for sleeve, work as for 1st sleeve.
Re join yarn to body and knit across remaining 7 stitches, to
end. Keeping K2 border pattern and starting with a purl row , continue across
all body stitches for 2 rows, stop 2 Sts
from end of knit row and YF,
K2tog to make final buttonhole. Then knit 2 rows and bind off.
Seam up sleeves and sew on buttons in line with the button holes
and..................... ta dah, itty bitty cardi!
